Save Hotel Towels - Save The Planet ?!

I have now lost count of the number of times I have stayed at a hotel and read about a policy to help the environment of only changing towels when needed - and having a system where if you leave the towels hanging up they will not be changed...... and the cleaners just disregard it and give out new towels as part of the routine!
